By default, only YOU have access to your stories. No one else can see them unless you explicitly create a sharing link. When you share, each person gets a unique, secure access code that you control. You can revoke access at any time.

Never. We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't show ads. Everstory is funded entirely by subscriptions from users who value preserving their family memories. Your privacy is our priority.

If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Before deletion, you'll have the opportunity to download a complete backup of your stories. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

Yes! You can download your complete story collection at any time from your Settings page. This includes all your story text, photos, videos, and audio. You can export as a professional editable document or as raw data files. Your memories belong to you.

While each story is written by one person, the collection is deeply collaborative. You can all write about the same event from different perspectives — a family holiday, a wedding, a difficult year — creating a richer, more complete picture than any single account could.

When you're ready, you create a private Share Link just for the person you want to share with. They receive a personal link that opens your story collection in a beautiful, easy-to-read format — no app download, no account needed. You can create different links for different people and revoke access at any time.

Your stories are private by default — no one can see them until you choose to share. When you share, you decide exactly who receives a link and can turn access off whenever you like. You can also choose whether to include family members' stories in a shared collection. There are no public profiles, no social feeds, no algorithms.

The Guardian feature is for anyone who wants peace of mind that their stories will never be lost. You nominate a trusted person — a spouse, adult child, close friend — who can access your complete story collection if something ever happens to you.

Your nominated Story Guardian receives a secure, private link to your full collection. Your stories reach the people who love you most — exactly as you intended. It's the digital equivalent of leaving a letter that always finds its way home.

You can upload photos (JPG, PNG up to 5MB), videos (MP4, MOV up to 50MB), and audio recordings (MP3, WAV up to 10MB). All media is automatically optimised for secure storage and fast sharing.

Every piece of media in your gallery can be attached directly to a story, so your words and visuals live together. A photo beside the story it belongs to. A voice recording preserved in your own voice. Media doesn't just illustrate your stories — it becomes part of them.

Desktop users can use voice dictation free and unlimited. Mobile users get voice transcription as part of their subscription, with monthly minute allowances based on their plan. Our cloud-based speech recognition converts your voice to text with high accuracy.

Yes — you retain full ownership of your original stories and all AI-generated content derived from them. It's provided for personal, non-commercial use and you can download, print, and share it freely with family.

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your Settings page. If you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Your stories remain accessible, but you won't be able to add new ones after your plan expires.

When you upgrade, you're charged the full price of the new tier immediately and receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current subscription. This gives you immediate access to all premium features while only paying for what you use.
